Propagation of the Faith |
|
|
This is the agency, directed by Very Rev. Msgr. John J. Oliveira, through which funding for the Mission in Honduras is budgeted. The priests of the Mission usually spend a month in the summer, visiting various parishes of the Diocese, preaching the Mission Co-operative collection, sharing news about the Mission and encouraging all members of the Diocese to participate in the Mission through their donations, their prayers and personal visits to the Mission. Special projects are sometimes organized through the office of the Propagation of the Faith, such as the purchase and shipment of a small school bus in 2003. |
